The Computer Engineering (CpE) Faculty is responsible for delivering quality instruction in core CpE subjects such as digital logic design, computer architecture, microprocessors, embedded systems, and hardware-software integration, ensuring alignment with Outcomes-Based Education (OBE) and the standards of the Commission on Higher Education.The role includes developing syllabi and instructional materials, supervising laboratory activities involving microcontrollers, IoT devices, and embedded platforms, and integrating simulation and development tools to enhance student learning.
The faculty member is also expected to conduct research in areas such as embedded systems, robotics, IoT, and computer hardware design, publish scholarly outputs, and participate in curriculum development, accreditation activities, student mentoring, and institutional extension programs.
A Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field is required, while a professional license under the Professional Regulation Commission is an advantage for those handling engineering board-related subjects; a doctoral degree, research publications, and industry experience are considered strong qualifications.
