Job Summary
The Sales Account Executive is responsible for managing assigned accounts, generating sales opportunities, and supporting bidding and procurement activities in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.The position requires strong sales acumen, the ability to work independently, and effective coordination with internal departments to achieve sales targets while maintaining compliance with company standards and ethical business practices.
Qualifications/Requirements
Duties and Responsibilities1. Account Management (Primary Responsibility)
Manage and maintain assigned client accounts, including government and institutional clients such as: Department of Education (DepEd) – Division Offices (e.g., DepEd North, DepEd Negros Occidental)
Local Government Units (LGUs) – Provincial, City, and Municipal OfficesDepartment of Energy (DOE)
Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR)
Department of Agriculture (DA)
Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)
Other national government agencies and government-owned and controlled corporations (GOCCs)
Serve as the authorized company representative in coordinating with clients regarding sales transactions, requirements, and concerns.Ensure proper documentation, filing, and record-keeping of all transactions and client communications.
- Sales Generation and Account Growth (Primary Responsibility)
Identify, develop, and pursue sales opportunities within assigned accounts, particularly within government offices and public sector institutions.
Prepare quotations, proposals, and other related sales documents based on approved pricing, terms, and conditions.
- Bidding and Procurement Support (Primary Responsibility)
Coordinate with concerned departments to ensure completeness and timely submission of all requirements.
Monitor bid results and assist in post-award requirements as necessary.
- Internal Coordination
Ensure that all commitments made to clients are aligned with company policies, authority limits, and operational capabilities.
- Training and Development
Demonstrate competence, initiative, and performance aligned with potential advancement to supervisory roles, subject to management evaluation.
Essential Functions1. Daily Sales Calls
Conduct a minimum of 20 outbound sales calls per day, including prospecting, follow-ups, client engagement, and lead nurturing activities.- Client Engagement
- Lead Tracking and Classification
Hot Leads: High-potential prospects with immediate conversion likelihood
Cold Leads: Prospects requiring further engagement and follow-up
Ensure accurate and timely updating of all leads in the assigned tracking system or sales reports.
QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or any related field.
Experience: At least 1–3 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in corporate, institutional, or government accounts.
Experience in handling government clients and/or participation in bidding and procurement processes is an advantage.Background in hotel, resort, or service industry sales is preferred.
Knowledge: Familiarity with government procurement processes and applicable regulations (e.g., RA 9184) is an advantage.
Understanding of sales principles, client relationship management, and account development.
Skills and Competencies: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and meet sales targetsGood organizational and documentation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and email communication
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks
Other Requirements: Willing to conduct fieldwork and client visits
