- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s /college Degree in Veterinary Medicine/ Medical Technology or equivalent.
- With at least 3years working experience
- Passion for Animal care
- With strong background in Animal Diagnostics, Laboratory procedure and handling of Veterinary Medical Equipment
- Familiarity with Veterinary pathology, Hematology, Microbiology and Clinical Chemistry for Animals is essential.
- Veterinary medicine encompasses a wide range of responsibilities including diagnosing and treating animal illnesses and injuries performing surgeries, administering vaccinations, providing preventive care and educating owners on animal health and nutrition
- Veterinarians may also be involved i research, public health initiatives and government affairs
- Working knowledge of medical diagnostic equipment and anesthesia procedures
- Responsible for examining animals to assess their health and diagnose problems, using a combination of diagnostics such as physical examination, neurology, blood work, radiology and pathology. Veterinarians should be able to provide medical treatment for animals when necessary
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills; including written reports
- Ability to work under pressure
- Attention to detail
