Geodetic Engineer

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Geodetic Engineering.
2. Certification or licensure in Geodetic Engineering is required.
3. Previous experience in surveying or a related field is required.
4. Knowledge of relevant software such as AutoCAD, GIS platforms, and survey processing tools.
5. knowldge in different surveying equipments ( RTK, GPS, AUTO LEVEL AND etc.)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Surveying and Mapping: Conduct geodetic surveys to measure and define boundaries, elevations, and other spatial data for land development, construction, or infrastructure projects.
2. Data Collection: Utilize GPS, RTK , total stations, and other surveying equipment to gather accurate geospatial data.
3. Data Analysis: Analyze and process survey data to create maps, reports, and digital models.
4. Coordinate Systems: Establish and maintain geodetic control points and reference systems (such as latitude, longitude, and elevation) for various projects.
5. Boundary Determination: Work with landowners, legal teams, and local authorities to define land boundaries and resolve disputes.
6. Monitoring: Monitor and assess any changes in the Earth's surface using geodetic measurements for applications like land subsidence, seismic activity, and other environmental conditions.
7. Reporting: Prepare technical reports, maps, and drawings that document geodetic findings and provide recommendations based on data analysis.
8. Collaboration: Work closely with architects, civil engineers, urban planners, and other professionals on construction or infrastructure projects to ensure accurate design and planning.
9. Maintenance of Equipment: Ensure the proper functioning and calibration of surveying and geodetic equipment.
10. Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with relevant local, regional, and national laws, regulations, and standards.
