Public Relation Specialist (Philippines Based)

Requirements:

  1. Minimum diploma’s degree is preferred, especially in relevant disciplines.
  2. Has more than 2years experiences in administration, public relation, government affairs, external affairs or similar position;
  3. Filipino nationals;
  4. Familiar with the structure and procedures of government agencies in Cebu;
  5. candidates with local network/resources in Lapu-Lapu or Cebu are preferred.
  6. Familiar with the basics of Philippine labor law, statutory benefits, and standard employment procedures;
  7. Strong in administrative coordination, communication, government liaison, external reception, and execution of related matters;
  8. Fluent in English;
  9. Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel, Word, and Outlook;
  10. Professional presence, adaptability, ability to work under pressure, and a strong sense of confidentiality.
  11. Able to adapt to a manufacturing environment and the fast-paced, multi-tasking nature of a factory start-up stage.
  12. Willing to join immediately and work in Lapu-Lapu City, Phillipines (PHI).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate daily administrative affairs of the company, including office environment maintenance, administrative supplies control, meeting arrangements, document filing, and visitor reception.
  2. Establish, maintain, and strengthen good relationships between the company and government agencies, industrial park authorities, and other public institutions in Cebu.
  3. Liaise and coordinate with PEZA, LGU, Barangay, Mayor’s Office, BFP, DENR, DOLE, BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and other relevant institutions.
  4. Assist in processing or following up government filings, permits, inspections, official visits, meeting arrangements, and formal correspondence.
  5. Support administrative and external affairs during construction, ramp-up, and operation stages, including policy coordination, project communication, and issue resolution.
  6. Assist in handling community relations, local affairs, external receptions, and major event coordination.
  7. Monitor local policy, regulatory updates, and the public affairs environment in Cebu, and provide timely feedback to management.
  8. Coordinate communication between internal departments and external institutions to ensure timely completion of assigned matters.
  9. Participate in government inspections, emergency handling, and special administration and public relations support as required.
