Southwestern University Medical Center is looking for a competent MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST who has a genuine interest in analyzing biological samples and a great healthcare partner:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervises the performance of test procedures.
- Performs laboratory tests requested.
- Signs test results prior to releasing.
- Records test results in the designated logbook.
- Performs other functions assigned to him/her by the Pathologist of Chief Medical Technologist
- Coordinates with other Medical Technologists staff in the performance of test procedures.
- Participates in the training of interns.
- Evaluate performance of each intern during entire affiliation in the laboratory.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of post charges in the Bizbox
- Encode in Bizbox accurate month end inventory as against Bizbox
- Exemplifies proper conduct and decorum.
Job Qualifications:
- Must be a Registered Medical Technologist
- With at least 1 year of work exposure in hospital setting is preferred but not required
- New passers are welcome to apply
- A team player and possesses excellent communication skills
