SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY
The Finance Section Manager is responsible for providing financial advice to management to enable them to make sound business decisions. Responsibilities include maintenance and preparation of the company’s Financial Statements in accordance with Generally accepted accounting principles.Responsible for the development of accounting policies and procedures, compliance with the Statutory and PEZA Requirements. Responsible for the development and implementation of internal controls. Responsibilities also include administration matters such as expat support, custodial and security related work.
Financial Statement Reporting- Prepare the Monthly, quarterly and annual financial package and ensure that this is presented accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee the management of the balance sheet and subledger as required.
- Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that will enable management to determine progress against budget.
- Collaborates with Japan Head office Finance team to comply with the required reports (Monthly, Quarterly, Annual)
- Liaise with external auditors in the preparation and timely submission of the financial statements needed for tax and other government reporting requirements.
- Direct all accounting and financial reporting activities.
- Prepares Annual Budget and ensure this is realistic, well planned, clearly communicated and aligned with the Company’s strategic goals.
- Prepares rolling financial forecast and monthly plans ensuring this captures current business conditions
- Supervises the conduct of a thorough and regular (Monthly) analysis of actual cost and compare this against Budget and Forecast.
- Collaborates with operations team to understand reasons of variance if any and provides sound advice on how to manage it
- Ability to analyze financial statements to ensure the Company make informed decisions about its future strategies
- Continuously find opportunities on how to maximize Company resources

- Identify, investigate and analyze potential operational improvement. As appropriate, based on findings, make proposals for operational changes (policy, procedures, processes, etc.)
- Supervise and mentor accountants.
- Leads conduct of Finance training to Operations team.
- Ensure that required internal and accounting policies and procedures are developed, implemented and audited periodically for compliance.
- Reviews risks associated with operations and works with the management team on how to mitigate such risks
- Takes active leadership role in company 5S program
- Takes active role to promote adherence to ISO and ISMS
- Takes active role to ensure company compliance to all applicable laws and standards.

- Perform all duties as assigned and required
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and at least 8 years of working experience
- Have a flare for numbers, works well with people, aggressively anticipate impacts of workload/issues to team deadlines and have a very positive work attitude
- Advanced Excel skills, ability to work with lookups and pivot tables.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.

- Has the ability to lead and inspire a group to work in the same direction.
- Knowledge of and experience with printer software solution business is required.
- Prior experience with ERP systems such as SAP is a plus
