Sales Executive
Job Summary
The Sales Executive (Automotive Industry) is responsible for driving vehicle sales by identifying business opportunities, developing strong customer relationships, and delivering excellent customer service throughout the sales process. The role promotes the company's commercial vehicles, passenger vehicles, automotive products, and mobility solutions while ensuring customer satisfaction and achieving sales targets.
The Sales Executive manages the entire sales cycle—from prospecting and product presentation to negotiation, unit delivery, and after-sales support—while coordinating with internal departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and develop new sales opportunities for commercial vehicles, passenger vehicles, and automotive products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with individual, corporate, and fleet customers.
- Conduct product presentations, vehicle demonstrations, and explain product features, specifications, and financing options.
- Prepare and submit accurate quotations, proposals, and sales documentation.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets while expanding the customer base.
- Coordinate with Finance, Service, Parts, and Operations to ensure timely vehicle delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor vehicle orders, inventory availability, registration status, and delivery schedules.
- Provide after-sales support by assisting customers with warranties, preventive maintenance services (PMS), repairs, accessories, and parts inquiries.
- Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities, and pipeline updates using the company's CRM or ERP system.
- Stay updated on automotive market trends, competitor activities, and new vehicle models to identify business opportunities.
- Attend sales events, trade shows, and client visits to generate leads and strengthen customer relationships.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or any related field.
- At least 1–3 years of experience in automotive sales, dealership operations, or account management is preferred.
- Experience selling commercial vehicles, passenger vehicles, trucks, automotive parts, or related products is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of automotive products, vehicle specifications, financing, and dealership sales processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and customer relationship management skills.
- Goal-oriented with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM/ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or similar).
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to conduct field work and client visits.
- Highly organized, customer-focused, and capable of working in a fast-paced automotive sales environment.
- Willing to travel as required to meet clients and support business development.
