Requirements:
- 6–8+ years of US mortgage processing or mortgage operations experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory or team lead capacity is a plus
- Hands on experience managing or supporting high volume loan pipelines in a fast paced environment.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and investor guidelines (FNMA, FHA, VA, USDA).
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Management, or a related field preferred (not mandatory).
- Certifications such as Certified Mortgage Processor (CMP) is a plus.
- Proficiency with LOS systems (Encompass, Blend, Calyx, etc.) and AUS tools (DU, LP).
- Strong understanding of mortgage products, disclosures, underwriting requirements, and closing processes.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, reporting, and workflow management tools.
- Effective communicator with strong client service orientation.
- Ability to coach, develop, and support teams while maintaining high accuracy and compliance standards.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot bottlenecks.
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast moving environment.
- Willing to work in Mandaue City or Cebu City
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the management, coaching, and daily oversight of the mortgage processing team to ensure timely and accurate loan file progression.
- Assist in reviewing borrower documentation such as income, credit, assets, appraisals, and disclosures to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Ensure adherence to federal and state regulations, including TILA, RESPA, Fair Housing requirements, and investor guidelines.
- Maintain working knowledge of FNMA, FHA, VA, USDA, and Jumbo products, along with associated underwriting requirements.
- Help monitor and manage pipeline workflow to meet SLAs, cycle times, quality expectations, and funding goals.
- Collaborate with loan officers, underwriters, closers, and servicing teams to resolve bottlenecks and ensure smooth loan movement.
- Support quality control checks and ensure files are audit ready prior to submission to underwriting or closing.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts, using data insights to identify process gaps and recommend solutions.
- Assist in preparing operational updates, reports, and team performance metrics for senior leadership.
- Conduct training sessions or refreshers for processing staff on LOS/AUS systems, guideline updates, and process expectations
