Our respective client is looking for a Legal Compliance Officer/Paralegal who will oversee the company's compliance with government laws and regulations. This role will be reporting to the VP for finance and is located in Libis, Quezon City Metro Manila with an onsite work requirement.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Ensured compliance with regulatory requirements related to government permits and licenses
- Assists in overseeing the legal aspects of business operations and transactions
- Manages relationships with external legal counsel and relevant regulatory bodies
- Provides guidance on legal matters including contract disputes, intellectual property, and other related issues
- Conducts legal research and stays updated on relevant laws and regulatory changes
- Negotiates and drafts a variety of legal agreements and contracts
- Collaborates with internal departments to ensure business activities comply with legal standards
- Advises senior management on legal implications and potential risks
- Supervises the renewal of business permits and ensures timely submission of required documents across multiple LGUs nationwide
- Reviews and drafts service agreements, lease contracts, and other key documents and policies
- Develops internal company policies and ensures consistent compliance
- Designs and implements effective legal compliance programs
- Supports litigation efforts related to tax, civil, criminal, and administrative cases
- Conducts regular audits to identify potential legal risks and non-compliance issues
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors of Law
- At least 5 years work experience in contract management and legal compliance.
- With strong background in Contract Management
- Willing to work onsite in Quezon City
