This job Description outlines the roles and responsibilities for the position of BUSINESS MANAGER- Reporting directly to the business Department Head, Business Manager Shall work hand in hand with your Head as you will be responsible for driving business growth within company. Main responsibilities involve research new market opportunities and oversee growth projects, making sales projections and forecasting revenue, in line with projected income.
- Be the point contact between Philippines and Japan headquarter.
- Provide a trustworthy report to the headquarter.
- Developing a business development strategy focused on financial gain.
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
- Attend conferences, business meetings, industry events, business travels, and market research.
- Represent the GMS in a professional manner.
- Promote the company's products /services addressing or predicting clients' objectives.
- Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices, etc.
- Research organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
- Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
- Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
- Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
- Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.
- Participate in the budget preparation and monitor the progress of the budget.
- Helps to shape the company's long-term objectives and determine plans for how to meet them.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and documents in accurate and timely manner.
- Comply and adhere with GMS standard policies and procedures.
- Follow all protocols, laws and regulations and ensure all company activities adhere to legal guidelines and policies.
- Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
- Proven experience as business manager or relevant role
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, databases and information systems
- Good understanding of research methods and data analysis techniques
- BSc/Ba in Business Management or relevant field; MSc/MA will be a plus
- Ability to speak and understand Japanese (Nihonggo)
language.
