As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced, people-focused, and results-driven Café Manager to lead our operations and help deliver the exceptional Soul Good experience every day.

We're Hiring: Operations Manager

You'll play a key leadership role in driving the continued success and growth of Soul Good.

What You'll Do:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the café to ensure efficiency, productivity, and service excellence
• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational standards, and quality procedures
• Monitor daily performance and implement improvements that enhance operational efficiency

• Recruit, train, coach, and develop café team members
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing work environment
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback
• Inspire and motivate the team to consistently deliver exceptional customer experiences

• Maintain the highest standards of customer service and hospitality
• Handle customer concerns professionally and implement effective resolutions
• Build strong customer relationships that encourage loyalty and repeat business

• Manage café budgets, monitor operating expenses, and control costs
• Analyze sales reports and financial performance to identify opportunities for growth
• Support revenue generation through effective planning and operational execution

• Oversee inventory management, purchasing, and stock control
• Ensure accurate inventory records and minimize waste through effective inventory practices
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality products

• Ensure full compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and workplace safety requirements
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready café environment
• Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement

• Resolve operational challenges quickly and effectively
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, customer satisfaction, and overall business performance
• Support company initiatives that strengthen operational excellence and brand standards

We're Looking For Someone Who:

• Holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field (or has equivalent management experience)
• Has 3–5 years of managerial experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality environment
• Has a proven track record of leading teams, managing daily operations, and delivering exceptional customer service
• Possesses strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and sales analysis
• Demonstrates excellent leadership, coaching, and team development abilities
• Has outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Understands food safety regulations, health standards, and operational compliance
• Holds a Food Safety Certification (preferred or required, depending on company policy)
• Is highly organized, proactive, and capable of making sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Thrives under pressure and approaches challenges with confidence and professionalism
