About the Role Accounting Manager

Are you a CPA with strong leadership and technical accounting expertise We're looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee and elevate our company's accounting operations. This role goes beyond numbersyou'll lead a dynamic team, ensure regulatory compliance, and support strategic financial planning in a fast-paced, forward-looking financing company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, train, coach, and evaluate a team of accounting professionals
• Oversee daily operations, including monthly closing, AP/AR, tax accounting, and general ledger entries
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders (e.g., SEC, auditors)
• Drive continuous process improvement in accounting and support functions
• Maintain compliance with tax regulations, policies, and financial reporting standards
• Implement and maintain accounting control systems and chart of accounts
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline inter-departmental workflows
• Prepare and review tax remittances, regulatory reports, and audit requirements
• Recommend staffing solutions and ensure optimal team performance

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
• 5+ years of experience as an Accounting Manager, preferably with strong knowledge in taxation and receivables
• Proven leadership and supervisory experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Confident communicator, capable of reporting directly to senior management and board members
