About the role
Polystar General Services Inc. is seeking a Registered Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and projects.As a Registered Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations, equipment, and systems meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols. Your expertise will be fundamental in driving our commitment to delivering high-quality engineering solutions and maintaining compliance with professional engineering standards.
Key responsibilities- Design, develop and oversee electrical systems, circuits and components for various projects
- Conduct feasibility studies and prepare technical specifications for electrical installations
- Perform load calculations, power flow analysis and electrical system simulations
- Review and approve electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation
- Supervise and coordinate electrical installation, testing and commissioning activities
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards and regulatory requirements
- Troubleshoot electrical system failures and provide technical solutions
- Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks on electrical work
- Prepare technical reports, project proposals and cost estimates
- Collaborate with other engineers, architects and project stakeholders
- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff on best practices and safety procedures
- Valid Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) License as a Registered Electrical Engineer in the Philippines
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in electrical engineering design and project execution
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards and safety regulations (NEC, Philippine Electrical Code)
- Proficiency with electrical design software and computer-aided design (CAD) tools
- Excellent understanding of power systems, distribution networks and electrical installations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Filipino
- Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams
- Project management experience is highly advantageous
- Experience with renewable energy systems or industrial electrical projects would be beneficial
