The Store Expansion Specialist is responsible for supporting the end-to-end process of retail store expansion, including site identification, lease negotiation support, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. Reporting to the Store Expansion Manager, this role ensures timely execution of new store openings, relocations, or renovations in line with the company’s strategic growth plans.

The position requires strong analytical, communication, and project coordination skills to assess potential sites, prepare proposals, and ensure compliance with legal, operational, and brand requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site surveys, market research, and location analysis to evaluate potential sites for new stores, relocations, or expansions.
  • Prepare feasibility studies, demographic reports, and competitor benchmarking to support site selection decisions.
  • Coordinate with brokers, landlords, and local authorities regarding site offerings, permits, and lease documentation.
  • Support lease negotiation processes by gathering required documents, reviewing proposals, and tracking key terms.
  • Work closely with internal teams (e.g., Legal, Finance, Operations, Construction, and Merchandising) to ensure alignment throughout the expansion process.
  • Monitor project timelines and milestones to ensure target opening dates are achieved.
  • Maintain and update the store expansion tracker, database, and status reports.
  • Prepare presentations and documentation for management review and decision-making.
  • Conduct post-opening evaluations to gather insights and recommend improvements for future expansion efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of BS in Business Administration, Real Estate, Urban Planning, or related field.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in store development, leasing, project coordination, or related field, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of site assessment techniques and commercial lease terms.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); GIS mapping or real estate tools is a plus.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Willing to travel for site inspections, meetings, and project coordination.

Work Arrangement:

  • Monday to Friday (On-site)
  • 8am-6:30pm, 9am-7:30pm, or 10am-8:30pm
  • Located in Bagumbayan Libis QC, near Eastwood.
