Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Officer

Responsibilities
Customer Service- Focal point for receiving all internal requests from other departments (BD, PM, etc), dispatch to the relevant team, follow-up and ensure that the request has been completed
- Focal point for receiving all requests, queries, complaints, etc from Clients (phone calls, emails, Line groups, etc), analyze, dispatch and ensure that the action is completed to the satisfaction of the client
- Support AM and O&M team in ensuring that Clients and internal teams understand the Terms & Conditions of the PPA
- Ensure that the terms and conditions of the PPA are strictly implemented
- Initiate appropriate response to Client’s requests, gather all supporting information from various sources and departments, draft the answer to the Client for management’s review, prepare official letters to Clients
- Prepare and submit all relevant communication to Clients (monthly generation and billing data, monthly MCC / curtailment records as applicable), etc
- Support Operations & Performance team to prepare and schedule Annual Performance Reviews with Clients
- Discuss and negotiate with Clients on non O&M related issues hindering our efficiency (e.g. excessive or restrictive work permits like EHS or administrative requirements for site access)
- Coordinate HOTO (handover turn over) process with PM
- Coordinate site visits internally and externally
- Source operational insurances for operating sites and newly commissioned projects
- Lead insurance claims
- Lead equipment warranty claims (in collaboration with Supply Chain Department)
- Liaise with the permitting department on permits and licenses required for the operating sites
- Prepare all relevant information and reports (CoP, ESA, etc) to renew licenses & permits of projects in operation
- Prepare all required regulatory reports for BOI, ERC, etc
Qualifications:
- Licensed Electrical Engineer
- 2-3 years’ experience in the solar energy industry or other related electrical design field expertise - experience in solar energy is a must
- Proven track record for the design of MW rooftop projects in the Philippines
