An Apparel Product Development Coordinator is responsible for managing the entire process of bringing apparel products from concept to production, ensuring they meet quality standards and target costs. This includes creating detailed tech packs, sourcing materials, working with factories, and managing the development timeline.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Tech Pack Creation: Develop and maintain accurate tech packs, which are detailed blueprints for garment construction, including fabric specifications, construction details, and measurements.
• Material Sourcing: Source fabrics, trims, and other materials, ensuring they meet quality standards and price targets.
• Factory Liaison: Communicate with factories, provide technical specifications, and monitor production progress.
• Sample Management: Oversee the creation and evaluation of samples, ensuring they meet design requirements and fit standards.
• Cost Analysis: Analyze garment costs and work with vendors to find cost-saving solutions.
• Quality Control: Ensure garments meet quality standards and address any issues that arise.
• Collaboration: Work with design, production, and other departments to ensure the smooth and successful development of products.
• Market Research: Stay informed about current trends and consumer preferences.
