Work Set-up: Hybrid

Credit Analyst supports the global credit management framework by executing rigorous compliance checks, data validation, and workflow administration within the Credit Control Tool. The role involves managing the end-to-end customer credit application intake, executing accurate credit assessments, and coordinating seamlessly with local, Regional Headquarters (RHQ), and Global Headquarters (GHQ) stakeholders for formal approvals.

The Credit Analyst (CA) ensures optimal credit risk mitigation while maintaining strict data integrity and meeting key performance indicator (KPI) deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities

Credit Assessment and Data Validation
  • Manage Credit Intake: Oversee the end-to-end customer credit application intakeprocess efficiently.
  • Application Verification: Perform thorough checks to verify and confirm the completeness and legitimacy of incoming customer credit applications.
  • Data Validation: Validate all critical financial metrics and background data inputs before they are utilized in the Credit Control Tool.
  • System Profiling: Upload finalized customer credit profiles into the Credit Control Tool tosystematically compute credit grades, maximum terms, and credit allowances.
  • Reporting & Synthesis: Compile detailed draft and final credit assessment output reportsbased on system-generated calculations.
Lifecycle Management and Workflow Administration
  • Ticketing Administration: Manage and update ticketing system statuses throughout theentire credit assessment lifecycle, including transitioning these accurately to "Assessment In Progress", "Draft Assessment Completed", and "Final Report Pending Check".
  • Workflow Optimization: Track and update the overall status of active credit control workflows to prevent bottlenecks and ensure swift processing.
  • Audit Readiness: Maintain clean, compliant, and well-organized customer case records for historical logging, transparency, and audit readiness.
  • Performance Tracking: Manage and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to align with global operational standards.
Governance Approvals and Collaboration
  • Quality Check Notification: Notify Team Leads and Center of Excellence (CoE) Specialists when assessment reports are ready for quality checks or finalization.
  • DoA Routing: Coordinate with appropriate Delegation of Authority (DoA) stakeholdersincluding Local, Regional Headquarters (RHQ), Global Headquarters (GHQ) offices, or Country Heads to route reports for formal approval signatures.
  • GHQ Alignment: Coordinate with and report directly to the GHQ Strategic Yield Management (SYM) Team by actively formatting required materials and participating inweekly alignment meetings.
Qualifications
  1. Fresh grad or at least 1–2 years of experience in shipping,logistics, or freight forwarding.
  2. Focus: Credit risk assessment, data validation, workflow administration, and trade finance compliance.
  3. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or any related field.
  4. Technical Skills/Industry Systems: High proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications (Excel including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP, Word). Ability to quickly learn and utilize specialized enterprise risk systems (Credit Control Tools, Digital Ticketing Systems).
  5. Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret complex data sets into actionable credit control insights. Strong ability to formulate strategies, conduct structured market research, interpret financial profiles, and locate new business opportunities.
  6. Operational Skills: Exceptional capability to multitask, prioritize under tight deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to details.
