Job Description

Mainly responsible for maintaining the company's accounting records, recording transactions accurately, BIR reports submission and compliance, and summarizing financial data.

• Ensure accurate and on-time payment of taxes.
• Record incoming and outgoing transactions and post to the right accounts.
• Maintain and balance the ledger, ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare and file financial reports to the BIR.
• Generate monthly and annual alphabetical list reports.
• Monthly reconciliation of sales taxes, payroll taxes, and other tax-related tasks.
• Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein or as may be deemed necessary by the Immediate Superior.

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, statistics, or a related field is required for this position.
• Preferably with working experience in the field of cargo logistics, holding an accounting or bookkeeping position.

• Knowledgeable in different accounting tools is a plus.
• Computer literate and MS Excel and Word.
• Excellence in math and computer skills with keen attention to detail.
• Professional demeanor and polite attitude when interacting with customers.
• Helpful, courteous approach to resolving complaints.
