The Senior Application Data Developer plays a critical role in the design, development, and optimization of domain-based databases. This position is essential in ensuring that APIs and internal applications are powered by accurate, high-performance data solutions.The developer will work closely with software engineers, analysts, and data teams to ensure data integrity, accessibility, and performance.

Responsibilities:
Database Development and Optimization- Design schemas and manage databases within specific business domains.
- Collaborate with backend developers to ensure APIs are fed with reliable, well-structured data.
- Improve database performance through indexing, partitioning, and query tuning.
- Work with data analysts and engineers to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
- Ensure consistent naming conventions, documentation, and data governance best practices.
- Proactively address data-related bottlenecks in the development cycle.
- Maintain clear documentation for data models, processes, and architecture.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders regarding data challenges and solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in database development or data engineering roles.
- Proficient in SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Proficiency in backend development using Node.js, including experience integrating databases with backend services.
- Familiarity with data modeling, ETL pipelines, and schema design.
- Experience with APIs and how databases interact with backend services.
- Knowledge of data governance and best practices for data quality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Up to PHP 130,000 monthly
- 2 rest days per week
