The Group Close team governs the monthly Financial process thay provides a golden source financial information data set upon which all internal and external reporting is based. Restructuring and Restatements Process encompasses changes in the organizational structure arising from management decisions, and the bank’s strategies.With these changes, financials are aligned accordingly for steering purposes and comparability reasons. The role is responsible for process, risk, stakeholder, and partly people management. It is the point of contact of the business in relation to the Restructuring & Restatement process.
The role involves processing, stakeholder management bridging the process and governance to the business, ensuring that the business is able to understand and adhere to the set of Restructuring and Restatement requirements as well as performing quality check to ensure adherence.

The Restructuring and Restatements Process Senior Analyst is the first level point of contact in relation to R&R- process; primarily responsible in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of the process, act as SME, and engage with colleagues and stakeholders.
We are looking for a candidate with a degree in Accountancy. It is highly preferred that you have relevant experience in people and process leadership, Accounting functions, financial reporting, preferably in a financial institution, and is knowledgeable in SAP and updated in Accounting and IFRS policies.

Your key responsibilities:
Control Environment - Execute control framework to ensure SLAs are met- Responsible in ensuring that output of the team is accurate, complete consistent and produced on time - in line with the SLA
- Execute strategy to meet the yearly targets and objectives of the Division
- Proactively manage Process Risk using available tools and technology including process and control improvements
- Act as SME process expert that provide guidance and advisory in navigating through various process issues.
- Work closely with RTB teams, offshore and onshore stakeholders on R&R-related projects and initiatives
- Will be a key driver for ensuring correctness of R&R process through performance of Quality Assurance activities and ensure strict compliance to R&R Governance and Policies, and process controls
- Will be responsible for monitoring and managing own performance through adherence to set KPIs and SLA, issues management and maintain good stakeholder relationships by conducting regular engagements with onshore partners.
- Will provide support to R&R deliverables and to any ad hoc queries and requirements as necessary
- Be the point of escalation for team issues and ensure its resolution.
- Support a positive working relationship with Clients and key stakeholders - onshore and offshore (inter and intra workstream).
- Consistently maintain a high level of customer service with focus on improvement and innovation
- Participate in Engagement with key stakeholders.
- Provide Process Expertise and give inputs on process in collaboration
- Support and recommend change to improve cost and minimize risks
- Support change projects within immediate sphere of control
Your skills and experience:
- Excellent communication skills and cultural awareness, be focused and able to explain results, escalate issues where needed
