What is the job?

The Senior Accounting Associate will support corporate accounting operations by managing accounts payable processes, vendor records, reconciliations, and payment-related activities across multiple legal entities.

Responsibilities:

• Process invoices, credit notes, and AP transactions accurately using Yardi and related systems.
• Manage vendor records, reconciliations, discrepancies, and payment documentation.
• Perform vendor statement, credit card, bank, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support month-end close through accruals, journal entries, and financial record maintenance.
• Maintain organized AP records, audit documentation, and entity-specific accounting data.
• Collaborate with accounting teams and vendors while supporting process improvements and ad-hoc tasks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in accounts payable or relevant accounting roles.
• Experience in Microsoft Office and MS Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Experience processing invoices, vendor payments, and account reconciliations.
• Familiarity with accounting principles and general ledger processes.
