Job Description-Dump Truck Driver
Project: Monterrazas de Cebu, Guadalupe, Cebu City
Duties and Responsibilities- Operate dump trucks safely and efficiently on public roads and construction sites.
- Transport construction materials to designated locations.
- Load and unload materials using the truck's hydraulic dumping system.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Check brakes, tires, lights, engine oil, coolant, and other vehicle components.
- Maintain cleanliness and good condition of the assigned truck.
- Report mechanical defects and maintenance requirements immediately.
- Follow project safety rules and traffic regulations at all times.
- Coordinate with site engineers, foremen, dispatchers, and equipment operators.
- Keep accurate records of trips, deliveries, fuel usage, and vehicle inspections.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Valid Professional Driver's License appropriate for operating heavy trucks.
- At least 2–3 years of experience driving dump trucks in construction projects.
- Good knowledge of road safety and construction site safety procedures.
- Familiar with basic vehicle troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
