What a Field Collector Looks Forward to Doing Well
The Field Collector is responsible for the secure, timely, and accurate retrieval of cash from kiosks and other collection machines. The role also performs cash sorting, documentation, and secure deposit of funds while ensuring strict compliance with handling procedures, security protocols, and reporting requirements.
What you will do
Cash Collection & Transport- Collect cash from kiosks and other designated collection machines based on daily schedules and routes.
- Ensure proper bundling and custody of cash during transport to sorting or deposit points.
- Deposit funds to authorized banks or handover points within required timelines.
- Sort, count, and verify collected cash in compliance with company standards.
- Detect counterfeit bills and segregate them according to procedures.
- Prepare sorted cash for deposit or turnover to authorized personnel.
- Access kiosks and machines using assigned keys, codes, or cards while strictly following security protocols.
- Record all collection activities in logbooks or system records accurately and promptly.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of machines (e.g., clearing simple jams, restarting units, or reporting error codes) to minimize downtime.
- Report any kiosk malfunctions, access issues, or unresolved technical problems to the Supervisor for escalation.
- Strictly follow SOPs for cash handling, transport, and sorting.
- Safeguard all collected and sorted funds to prevent loss or tampering.
- Report all incidents, risks, or discrepancies immediately.
- Maintain accurate logbooks, service records, and collection receipts.
- Submit daily collection and cash sorting reports to the Supervisor.
- Assist in investigating variances or discrepancies.
