Lead QA Engineer | Day Shift, Up to PHP60K - Manila

Salary: Earn up to PHP 50,000

Summary:

As a Lead QA Engineer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that our web and mobile applications meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and user satisfaction. You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders in an Agile environment, while leading and mentoring QA team members, optimizing testing processes, and championing automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute thorough manual testing of software applications with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Develop detailed test plans and test cases to ensure smooth functionality across web and mobile platforms.
• Build and maintain automated E2E tests using Cypress and API tests using APIdog.
• Coordinate with front-end teams to ensure markup updates support automated testing.

• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and code reviews, offering valuable feedback to enhance performance and maintainability.

• Work with developers to identify, document, and resolve bugs quickly.
• Translate business needs into robust test cases with the product team.
• Resolve integration issues, particularly around Zoom/Teams integrations and WebRTC functionality.
• Manage and track defect resolution through collaboration and persistence.

• Mentor and guide QA team members through technical support, 1:1s, and WIN-WIN reviews.
• Handle task and resource allocation, ensuring team efficiency.
• Maintain all test documentation, including test cases and scripts.
• Continuously improve QA processes using AI agents and emerging tools.

• Lead initial support for GTM product launches.
• Regularly assess and adopt new testing tools and methodologies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of QA experience, especially in web and mobile application testing.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, processes, and test documentation.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools like Cypress, Selenium, or Appium.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, PHP, or C#.
• Experience testing Zoom/Teams integrations and working with OAuth 2.0 and APIs.
• Familiarity with WebRTC technologies.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
