IT EXECUTIVE ( VESSEL IT SUPPORT)

Responsibilities
- Provide IT support to vessels via email, phone, and remote access
- Respond to vessel and crew IT queries
- Provide computer-related assistance to colleagues from different offices
- Troubleshoot onboard and office IT and communication issues
- Support vessel communication systems (email, network, satellite, etc.)
- Verify invoices for communication charges, cybersecurity subscriptions, and IT licenses
- Perform cybersecurity compliance checks based on company standards
- Coordinate with vendors/service providers for technical support and escalations
- Attend vessel visits when needed (local or overseas travel)
- Support system setup during vessel handovers and takeovers
- Monitor basic cybersecurity and IT policy compliance onboard
- Assist in maintaining IT documentation and reports
- Support network and connectivity optimization for vessels and offices
- Coordinate with shore IT team for escalations and updates
- IT, Computer Science, or related background
- Experience in IT support or network administration preferred
- Knowledge of basic cybersecurity and vessel communication systems is an advantage
- Willing to work in a support role with occasional travel
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
