As a forward-thinking global logistics company with a strong emphasis on innovation, technology, and operational excellence, we are on the hunt for at Operations Officer with one to two years of experience who is willing to work onsite in our CEBU City IT Park location.
Purpose:
The Operations Officer – Leg 3 is responsible for managing day‑to‑day final‑mile operations, including delivery tracking, exception handling, and coordination with courier partners. The role ensures shipments are executed in line with service level agreements (SLAs) and customer expectations by proactively monitoring performance, resolving delivery issues, and supporting operational data accuracy.
Areas of Accountability
Reporting Line & Span of Control- Reports to Operations Coordinator
- Monitor final‑mile delivery activity to ensure shipments progress in line with SLAs and agreed timelines.
- Proactively identify delivery risks, delays, or performance issues and escalate as required.
- Support on‑time delivery performance across all states and partners/suppliers.
- Oversee the reporting, investigation, and resolution of delivery exceptions, including undelivered, delayed, or problematic shipments.
- Ensure exceptions are actioned accurately, within agreed timeframes, and communicated clearly to relevant stakeholders.
- Work closely with Customer Service to support customer‑impacting issues.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of final‑mile manifesting activities across multiple courier partners and schedules.
- Monitor manifests to identify discrepancies, missed scans, or operational risks requiring follow‑up.
- Maintain visibility of linehaul movements and depot transfers to ensure smooth handovers between operational legs.
- Coordinate with internal transport and external partners to minimize disruptions that may impact delivery outcomes.
Billing & Data Management
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of operational data related to billing, driver payments, and courier performance.- Support reconciliation activities by validating delivery data, scan compliance, and related reports.
- Provide operational support to internal and external stakeholders, including responding to enquiries, requests, and service‑related issues.
- Act as a key operational contact for courier partners on final‑mile matters when required.
- Generate and analyse operational reports to track delivery performance, backlog, and aging shipments.
- Identify trends, risks, and recurring issues and support corrective actions to improve service outcomes.
- Support routing and depot operations to optimize delivery efficiency and address daily operational requirements.
- Assist with changes or adjustments needed to support volume fluctuations or network constraints.
- Provide ongoing operational support, including ad hoc tasks, data requests, and process updates as required by the business.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying operational gaps and recommended solutions.
