Microsoft SQL Database Administrator

Job Description

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

5+ years proven experience as a Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator or in a similar role.

Working experience in a critical production environment on multiple database technologies

Strong proficiency in SQL Server, T-SQL, and database management tools.

Experience with performance tuning and optimization, Change Data Capture, using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

Solid understanding of database security and best practices.

Knowledge of high availability (HA) (e.g., Availability Groups) and disaster recovery (DR) options for SQL Server.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
