IT Business Services Analyst
Job Summary:
The Business Services Analyst will play a key role in bridging business operations and technology within the IT Business Services function. This role focuses on analyzing business processes across departments, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements, cost savings, and automation, and guiding business units in their technical and system development initiatives.
The position requires strong analytical and technical capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to translate operational requirements into structured solutions. The analyst will collaborate with internal stakeholders and third-party software developers, support project delivery, and help ensure that technology initiatives align with enterprise architecture and business objectives.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze and improve business processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and identify automation opportunities.
- Document workflows, process maps, and operational requirements.
- Support development of low-code/no-code solutions and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Assist in system testing, validation, and quality assurance.
- Coordinate and manage technology-related projects, including timelines and deliverables.
- Facilitate meetings and gather requirements from stakeholders.
- Act as liaison with third-party vendors, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
- Engage with business units to understand needs, communicate technical concepts, and provide solution recommendations.
Education and Experience Educational Attainment:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience in business process analysis, IT business analysis, or similar roles.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
- Experience supporting technology implementation projects or automation initiatives is preferred.
