About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Structural Design Engineer to join our growing team supporting Australian infrastructure and land development projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and documentation of bulk earthworks, drainage systems, roadworks, and structural components, ensuring compliance with Australian standards and project requirements.

This role is ideal for a technically strong engineer with hands-on experience in 12d Model, AutoCAD, and Tekla Structures who can work independently and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.

• Prepare civil and structural designs for infrastructure and development projects.
• Design and model bulk earthworks, roadworks, drainage networks, and associated civil infrastructure.
• Develop engineering drawings, plans, and documentation using 12d Model and AutoCAD.
• Create and manage structural models and detailing using Tekla Structures.
• Perform design calculations, quantity estimations, and technical assessments.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, drafters, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant Australian standards, codes, and client specifications.
• Review project deliverables for quality, accuracy, and constructability.
• Support project planning, design reviews, and technical reporting.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Professional engineering registration is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of civil infrastructure and structural engineering principles.

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in civil and/or structural design engineering.
• Proven experience in:
• Bulk Earthworks
• Drainage Design
• Road Design
• Site Development Projects
• Proficiency in 12d Model.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD (CAD).
• Experience with Tekla Structures for structural modeling and detailing.
• Ability to interpret engineering standards, specifications, and construction drawings.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

• Experience working on Australian infrastructure, land development, mining, transport, or civil construction projects.
• Familiarity with Australian Standards and local design practices.
• Experience collaborating with Australian-based engineering teams.
• Knowledge of additional engineering software is advantageous.
