POSITION TITLE: Controllership Senior AnalystWORK SETUP: Hybrid
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Handle indirect tax operations (ST/VAT/GST) of assigned country/region
- Accounting for VAT/GST on intercompany transactions between affiliate companies
- Accounting for input tax credit, execute amendments as appropriate
- Accounting for output tax liability, execute amendments as appropriate
- Determine and discharge net tax liability and execute tax reconciliations (filing vs accounting)
- Preparation of Income Tax Entries and Tax Disclosure in the Financial Statements
- Assist Tax team in disposing tax queries from third party consultants related to Tax operations
- Prepare Global Tax Reporting requirements through OneSource – Forecast, Provision, True-Up and Others
- Respond to stakeholders’ tax queries
- Respond to tax queries from other Accenture departments – RTP, RTR, Treasury, CFM and Others
- Recommend adjusting entries related to taxes
- Handle preparation of various schedules and working papers for BIR audits
- Reconciliation of various tax accounts for the current year (returns vs. books)
- Handle and ensure compliance with LGU on tax/permits processing (PEZA 2% share and business permit application/renewal)/ as needed – for closed/new Accenture sites
- In charge of file maintenance for tax returns filed and applicable working papers.
- Identify and participate in process improvements and initiatives
- Document process improvements and process flows
- Others – adhoc reports /audit support.
