Storekeeper

Job Description

1. Maintains the store neat and tidy.
2. Stocks the materials in proper manner in the appropriate location and/or rack.

• Takes appropriate action for care and preservation of the materials.
• Takes safety measure for the safety of the store house, materials and personnel working in store.

1. Carries out periodical physical verification and assess the stock position.

• Ensures correctness of stock at all times.

1. During receipt of goods from the supplier, ask representative from audit to check the quantity and quality based on purchase order and stocks the materials in appropriate location.

• Checks the materials thoroughly for quality, quantity, specification condition, condition etc.

1. Checks the requisition issuance slip/s for correctness in all aspects. If found OK, issues the materials. If found with any mistakes or discrepancies, return the slip for rectification.

• Issues materials to the departments with approved RIS.
• Issues materials to departments as per the schedule.

1. Manages inventory/supplies and ensure they are within the established minimum and maximum levels.
2. Ensures adequate record keeping and manages all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control.

1. Bachelor's degree holder.
2. Minimum of two (2) years of actual work experience in warehousing operations.
3. Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel/ PowerPoint).
4. With efficient planning and coordinating skills.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in management.
6. Honest
7. Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time.
