Building maintenance/ air-conditioning technician
About the role
Exxel Prime International Trading Inc. is seeking a skilled and reliable Building Maintenance/Air-Conditioning Technician to join our team in South Caloocan, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position based on-site, where you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair and servicing of air-conditioning and refrigeration systems across our facilities.This role is crucial to ensuring optimal climate control and operational efficiency within our buildings, directly contributing to the comfort and productivity of our workforce and clients.
Key responsibilities- Install, inspect, maintain and repair air-conditioning and refrigeration systems in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend system lifespan
- Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctioning air-conditioning units and refrigeration systems, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions
- Conduct system testing and calibration to verify proper operation and efficiency
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls and service requests from building occupants
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance work completed, parts replaced and service history for each system
- Vocational diploma or certification in air-conditioning and refrigeration technology, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in HVAC/air-conditioning maintenance and repair
- Sound knowledge of refrigeration principles, thermodynamics and electrical systems related to cooling equipment
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and testing equipment specific to air-conditioning systems
