ABOUT YOUR KEY ROLE
As a Systems Engineer, you’ll manage complex tasks and keep our entire tech stack infrastructure running smoothly across devices and networks. You will:
- Participate in the scope and design of Azure Cloud solutions
- Participate in the deployment, configuration, and management of Azure Cloud solutions
- Manage existing customers' Azure Cloud infrastructure and services
- Creation and maintenance of related service documentation and guides
- Mentor and support less experienced Cloud Admins/Resources
ABOUT YOU & YOUR TECHNICAL SKILLS
The ideal candidate must have a strong background in workstation management, On-Prem servers, and Azure Cloud, with proven ability to solve complex issues and support customers effectively.
Cloud & Azure Platform- 5+ years working experience in cloud-based environments
- A minimum of 3 years commercial experience in Microsoft Azure
- An excellent understanding of Azure Cloud services and architecture
- Experience deploying and managing Azure services including VMs, Storage, Backup, and Virtual Networks
- Experience with Azure native services (e.g. Policy, Cost Management, Lighthouse, Monitor/Log Analytics, Security Center)
- Years of experience in Windows Servers and Desktop operating systems
- General understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems
- Excellent understanding of system administration concepts including virtualization, containers, disk storage, encryption, security, network connectivity, firewalls, and load balancers
- General knowledge in cloud computing patterns, computer programming, database design, enterprise software, operating systems, and hardware
- General understanding of one or more major Project Management methodologies
- No certifications required but highly regarded
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
