About the role

What you'll be doing- Safely operate a variety of company vehicles, including vans and light trucks, to transport goods and materials
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to meet customer deadlines
- Provide exceptional customer service and liaise with clients as needed
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, safety regulations and company policies
- Support the broader operations team as required
- A valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Experience as a commercial driver, preferably in a logistics or courier role
- Knowledge of local roads and traffic conditions
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and a commitment to safety
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
