About the Role

Lex is hiring an experienced copywriter (5–10 years) to craft high-converting B2B copy across LinkedIn, email, and social channels. You’ll develop campaign concepts and write original, on-brand copy that drives pipeline—while smartly leveraging AI to accelerate research and ideation (never to replace original work).

This role starts part-time with a path to full-time based on performance.

What You’ll Do
  • Own end-to-end copy for outbound campaigns (email + LinkedIn) and organic/paid social posts.
  • Build messaging frameworks, hooks, angles, and CTAs for specific ICPs and buyer stages.
  • Ghostwrite LinkedIn posts/threads for executives; craft carousels, short video scripts, and captions.
  • Create campaign assets: sequences, DMs, InMails, snippets, landing page headlines, and ad copy.
  • A/B test subject lines, openers, value props, and CTAs; iterate based on performance data.
  • Maintain a weekly content calendar; repurpose high-performing content across channels.
  • Collaborate with strategy, research, and SDR teams to align targeting and offers.
  • Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT/Claude) for research, brief creation, and variations—final copy is original.
  • Track and report on KPIs (reply rate, booking rate, CTR, engagement, follower growth).
What You’ll Bring
  • 5–10 years of B2B copywriting experience focused on performance and lead generation.
  • Proven results writing LinkedIn + email sequences and social posts that convert (portfolio required).
  • Mastery of concise, executive-friendly messaging and clear, compelling CTAs.
  • Native-level/fluent English with impeccable grammar and tone control across industries.
  • Strong grasp of modern outbound and social mechanics (hooks, pattern breaks, objection handling).
  • Data-driven mindset; comfortable interpreting metrics and iterating rapidly.
  • Experience using AI ethically to speed research and ideation while delivering original copy.
  • Ability to work East Coast (ET) hours, manage deadlines, and start immediately.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in SaaS, HR tech, fintech, health tech, or professional services.
  • Familiarity with CRM/ESP and outbound tools (e.g., HubSpot, Apollo, Instantly, Sales Navigator).
  • Basic understanding of ads (LinkedIn/Meta) and landing page optimization.
  • Light design sense for carousels/creatives and short-form video scripting.
Success Metrics (Examples)
  • Cold email reply rate and meeting-booked rate above benchmark.
  • LinkedIn connection acceptance and DM reply rates improving QoQ.
  • Post engagement (ER), follower growth, and CTR on social assets.
  • Consistent on-time delivery and positive stakeholder feedback.
Engagement & Compensation
  • Structure: Part-time to start (contract or employee), with path to full-time.
  • Compensation: Competitive; commensurate with experience and results.
