Job Position: Beauty and Wellbeing Greater Asia Finance Lead and Philippines Head of Finance

• Responsible for overall control and compliance within the country or country cluster, as well as many day-to-day aspects of control and stewardship will be carried out by the Controller, but Head of Finance remains accountable and has specific fiduciary duties in respect of the role
• Review and sign-off of the Financial Statements and reporting for both concern and local statutory purposes, as well as ensure that they can place sufficient confidence on the review, explanation and documentary support for the accounts and the financial statements
• Responsible for compliance with both Unilever and local statutory accounting policies
• Responsible for final sign off for tax compliance submissions where required (in line with the agreed Future of Tax operating model), as well as any other local financial or fiscal submissions
• Ensure that they are fully aware of local accounting and finance regulations and promptly escalate issues to their line manager or other appropriate senior Finance leader where in-country resources are insufficient in either quantity or capability to address local issues
• End-to-end business management role with full profit and loss, financial statements and value creation ownership
• Business acumen and partnering value for impact at advanced level
• Full access to global Business Group (BG) strategy and co-create Business Unit (BU) strategy for the next 5 years
• End-to-end business responsibility and access to all value creation tools: Topline and Bottomline growth, Fuel for Growth, Cash, Overheads, NRM, 5S, ZBB projects for the BU
• Shaping the future for the BU via restructuring projects, setting sourcing strategy with Supply Chain (SC), leading Capex and Innovation business cases
• Reshaping the investment strategy towards digital and future channels, developing the Return on Investment (ROI) capability
• Communication and strategic influencing
• Accelerate storytelling and influencing skills via interacting with Global BG/BU leads
• Lead/influence multiple countries within the business unit
• Manage diverse and multi-cultural teams
• Organizational awareness and Networking with BG, CI, M&A and other BU Finance teams

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or a relevant field
• At least 9 years of solid experience in finance, stakeholder management, and business partnering
• Preferably with strong knowledge of team management, including leading remote teams
• Experience in performance management and dynamic resource allocation
• Background in strategic planning, forecasting, and innovation
• Experience working across multiple and complex regions
• Excellent presentation, communication, and storytelling skills
• Proficient in risk management
