Key Responsibilities
  • Edit TikTok-native short-form videos for affiliate and e-commerce content, including UGC-style videos, creator videos, product reviews, product demos, testimonials, affiliate selling videos, and campaign videos.
  • Transform raw footage, creator materials, product selling points, and content briefs into engaging short-form videos optimized for TikTok.
  • Create strong opening hooks, especially within the first 3 seconds, to improve user retention and video completion.
  • Improve video structure, pacing, subtitles, sound effects, transitions, B-roll selection, and product exposure to make each video more engaging and conversion-oriented.
  • Work closely with the content, brand, creative, affiliate, and performance teams to produce videos for TikTok Shop, affiliate campaigns, brand-owned TikTok accounts, paid ads, and social media campaigns.
  • Identify strong content angles from raw materials and proactively suggest better ways to present the product, user pain points, product benefits, proof points, and usage scenarios.
  • Stay updated on TikTok trends, viral formats, editing styles, sounds, meme culture, creator content, and affiliate/e-commerce video best practices.
  • Repurpose and optimize existing creator videos or campaign materials into multiple short-form versions for different hooks, audiences, and selling points.
  • Support A/B testing by creating different versions of hooks, subtitles, pacing, openings, endings, and call-to-action styles.
Requirements
  • 3–5 years of experience in video editing, short-form content production, social media content, e-commerce content, affiliate content, or related fields.
  • Strong experience editing for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, or other short-form video platforms.
  • Strong TikTok-native content sense: understands short-form video trends, hook structures, pacing, subtitles, sound effects, meme culture, and what makes users stop scrolling.
  • Experience editing affiliate, e-commerce, or product-related videos, such as UGC content, product reviews, product demos, creator content, TikTok Shop videos, affiliate selling videos, or paid social ads.
  • Able to edit videos that feel organic, relatable, and native to TikTok, rather than overly polished or traditional advertising-style content.
  • Strong sense of storytelling and short-form video structure, with the ability to organize content around hooks, pain points, product benefits, proof, usage scenarios, and conversion messages.
