Dispatcher

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for allocating and consolidating daily trips of vehicles. Must have good communication and interpersonal skills towards drivers and helpers.A team player who can follow instructions and has the initiative towards work.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for collecting delivery receipts from various internal and external key accounts.
• Monitor delivery charges and penalties on a daily basis.
• Recheck delivery receipts for errors or missed signatures from delivery.
• Records all truck related incident reports.
• Implement truck check list monitoring before leaving.
• Make a monitoring of truck equipment such as fire extinguisher, push carts, EWD, spare tire, jack, tire choke and tools.
• CarPool Monitoring, updates of pending maintenance issues and make sure that all trucks are in good working condition when leaving the office .
• Checking of documents ( POR, STR, and DR ).

• Assigns drivers according to required vehicles.
• Make helper assignments according to the truck.
• Addresses and coordinates to responsible departments regarding vehicle emergencies such as truck breakdown,smoke belching(asbu), accidents and traffic apprehension.
• Random checking of trucks, making sure the inside cabin is clean.
• Monitor/inspect truck equipment such as fire extinguisher, push carts, EWD, spare tire, jack, tire choke and tools.
• Maintain constant communication with respective warehouses for day to day operations.
• Assigns driver and vehicle for other internal companies but subject for approval by logistics.
• Bring necessary documents if needed to the warehouse or head office of key accounts.
• Point person for reporting regarding onsite issues such delayed receiving, miscommunication with store, or theft incident at store level.
• May attend kpi meetings or operational concern meetings at the warehouse.
• Receive Pick up from all couriers of the office ( lazada , ninjavan or other transportify apps)
• Ensuring all documents are returned and secured. And also be returned to accounting for billing.
• Point person , to anyone needs updates regarding about delivery and delivery personnel.
• 24/7 monitoring of trucks and delivery team to ensure efficient delivery.
• All accountabilities will be handed over to him/her so that she/he can monitor of the goods.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree or coursework in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Transportation Management preferred
• 1–2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations; prior dispatching experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to solve problems quickly and make sound decisions under pressure
• Proficiency with dispatch software, GPS systems, and Microsoft Office tools
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
