About the role

Coogee International Development Inc. is seeking a talented, licensed Electrical Engineer to join our growing team in Parañaque City. This is a pivotal role within our engineering department where you will drive the design, development, and implementation of high-performing electrical systems.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of our electrical infrastructure—particularly within renewable energy projects—while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, sustainable engineering solutions.

• System Design & Development: Design electrical systems, components, and equipment (with a focus on solar power plants) in accordance with industry standards and project specifications.
• Technical Documentation: Conduct feasibility studies and prepare detailed technical drawings, schematics, and documentation for electrical installations and upgrades.
• Performance Analysis: Perform calculations and simulations to verify system performance, safety compliance, and energy efficiency.
• Project Oversight: Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure they meet strict design specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with project managers, construction teams, and stakeholders to ensure timely, cost-effective project delivery.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Conduct diagnostics to resolve technical issues, develop preventive maintenance protocols, and recommend equipment upgrades to enhance reliability.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to national/international electrical codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards across all project phases.
• Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technical staff.

• Education & License: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Must be a Registered/Licensed Electrical Engineer in the Philippines.
• Experience: 3–5 years of professional experience in electrical engineering, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in solar power plant systems (design, installation, and project management).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software and electrical design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar platforms). Strong understanding of power systems, distribution networks, and control systems.
• Regulations: Deep knowledge of the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC) as well as applicable international standards.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving skills, excellent teamwork, and the ability to work independently.
• Communication: Professional fluency in English; proficiency in Filipino is a distinct advantage.
• Mobility: Willingness to undertake site inspections and fieldwork as required.
