Physician Engagement Specialist

About the role

As a Physician Engagement Specialist, you will serve as a key liaison, ensuring physicians feel valued, informed, and connected to The Medical City South Luzon's mission and initiatives. This position plays a strategic role in enhancing physician satisfaction, retention and advocacy, ultimately contributing to the overall success and reputation of our healthcare institution.

1. Develop and implement comprehensive physician engagement strategies and programmes that foster strong relationships with our medical staff
2. Serve as the primary point of contact for physician inquiries, feedback and concerns, ensuring prompt and professional responses
3. Organise and coordinate physician-focused events, workshops, seminars and networking opportunities to enhance engagement and community building
4. Manage internal communications to physicians through newsletters, updates and targeted messaging that highlights institutional news, clinical advancements and professional development opportunities
5. Gather, analyse and report on physician feedback and satisfaction metrics to identify areas for improvement and recommend strategic enhancements
6. Collaborate with clinical leadership, administration and other departments to address physician needs and concerns
7. Support the development and maintenance of physician-related content for internal platforms and communication channels
8. Coordinate recognition programmes and initiatives that celebrate physician achievements and contributions
9. Monitor industry trends and best practices in physician engagement and recommend innovations to enhance our programmes
10. Prepare reports and presentations on physician engagement activities, outcomes and recommendations for senior leadership

1. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Healthcare Administration or a related field
2. Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in physician engagement, healthcare communications, public relations, or related roles within a healthcare setting
3. Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, clinical operations, and the unique needs and concerns of medical professionals
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messages for diverse physician audiences
5. Demonstrated experience in event planning and coordination, with proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
6. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to interact professionally with physicians and senior leadership
7. Proficiency in using communication platforms, social media, email marketing tools and Microsoft Office Suite
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
9. Exceptional organisational and project management abilities with strong attention to detail
10. Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance requirements and professional ethics is advantageous
11. Experience with data analysis and reporting to measure engagement effectiveness is preferred
