Assistant pharmacist

Job Description

• Customer Service & Sales: Welcoming customers, answering queries regarding medicines, and assisting with purchases in a friendly and professional manner.
• Dispensing & Assisting: Assisting the pharmacist in preparing, counting, and labeling medications accurately.

• Inventory Management: Monitoring stock levels, receiving deliveries, arranging displays, and conducting inventory counts.
• Store Maintenance: Ensuring the pharmacy is clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations.
• Promoting Generics: Informing customers about the benefits of generic medicine alternatives.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Skills: Strong communication skills, basic computer knowledge , high attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.

• The role involves standing for long periods and requires high patience when handling customer queries.

Remarks

Previous experience in a retail, drugstore, or pharmaceutical environment is preferred but not always required (often willing to train).
