Primary Function: Responsible for overseeing the performance, operations, and profitability of multiple MBE stores within an assigned area. The Commercial Manager ensures that each branch delivers consistent service quality, adheres to MBE standards, meets sales targets, and maintains strong relationships with local and international courier partners.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the MBE Store.
  • Ensure the store is clean, organized and visually appealing.
  • People management and training. Conduct Store visits to audit compliance and provide on-site coaching.
  • Assist in developing new business.
  • Provides initiatives to cost control.
  • Keeping track of sales performance.
  • Supervising the operations and customer experience.
  • Managing vendor relationships
  • Assist Finance Team on credit and collection and accounting.
  • Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, monthly sales report.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, expenses, and inventory.
  • Execute merchandising plans and promotional displays.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's Degree of in Business Management or related field.

EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in retail management, operations, logistics, and printing is an advantage. Preferably with background in courier, logistics, franchise management.

RELATIONSHIPS:

  • Reporting Relationship: Receives direct supervision from the VP of Marketing and Operations. Supervises multiple Store assistants within the assigned area.

COMPETENCIES:

Technical:

  • Strong analytical and reporting skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • In-depth knowledge of logistics, shipping documentation, and customs processes.
  • Experience in managing courier partnerships and local delivery systems.
  • Capable of interpreting sales and P&L reports to make operational decisions.
  • Strong mentoring and leadership skills for multi-branch supervision.

Behavioral:

  • Changes behavior in response to feedback and learns from experience.
  • Communicates in a clear and effective manner, using appropriate technology when applicable.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work in flexible hours, including weekends.
