About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Healthcare Operations Specialist (Medical Records & Documentation) to join our growing healthcare support team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately reviewing, updating, and maintaining patient and healthcare-related records while ensuring compliance with company standards and data privacy regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Enter, update, and maintain patient and medical records with a high level of accuracy.
- Review healthcare documents for completeness and correctness.
- Verify patient information and resolve discrepancies when necessary.
- Process medical forms, referrals, authorizations, and other healthcare-related documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and healthcare data privacy standards.
- Organize and manage electronic records and databases.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate record processing.
- Meet productivity and quality performance metrics.
- At least 6 months - 1 year of experience in healthcare data entry, medical records, healthcare administration, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and data management systems.
- Experience working with EMR/EHR systems is an advantage.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Background in healthcare, medical billing, claims processing, or medical records management.
- Familiarity with healthcare terminology and documentation.
