DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Checks the working schedule specifying the date of commencement and completion of a particular installation project
- Takes charge of the proper assignment of projects to supervisors and junior supervisors
- Sees to it that all necessary documents are complete in each project
- Implements effective monitoring and control of manpower and tools
- Implements effective collection control of accounts in his area
- Conducts weekly project coordination meetings
- Monitors closely the progress of the installation project as to budget, expense control, timely completion, and quality of work of his people
- Assists in the implementation of training programs for the upliftment of skills and of workers
- Monitors strict implementation of safety program and sees to it that his personnel strictly observe the company rules and safety regulations at the project
- Assists in the review of contract conditions
- Attend jobsite coordination meetings and weekly coordination meetings with supervisors and junior supervisors
- Ensures timely billing of all projects and follow-up payments
- Approves time tickets of all personnel in his area
- Trains and develops his personnel in the efficient performance of their jobs and personal growth
- Adheres to IEE quality policy and the quality objectives of E/E Installation Department
- Performs other tasks that may be assigned by the superior from time to time
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, preferably licensed by the Professional Regulation Commission
- Must haveat least 10 years of experience in Elevator/Escalator installation
- Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written English and Filipino
- Can relate effectively to all types of people in the organization and with strong leadership potential
- Capable of negotiating effectively with the other prospective clients and subcontractors
- Capable of teaching and training people
