Job Summary

The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for designing, maintaining, improving, and troubleshooting mechanical systems, production equipment, and plant facilities to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing operations. The role focuses on equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, process improvement, and compliance with quality and safety standards.

• Plan, implement, and monitor preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
• Design, install, and improve mechanical systems, machinery, and production equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical failures to minimize equipment downtime.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Monitor machine performance and recommend upgrades to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Coordinate the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment and production lines.
• Develop and maintain maintenance schedules, equipment history, and technical documentation.
• Supervise maintenance technicians, contractors, and service providers during repair and installation activities.
• Ensure proper maintenance of utilities such as compressors, boilers, pumps, conveyors, HVAC systems, and other mechanical equipment.
• Prepare maintenance budgets, cost estimates, and spare parts requirements.
• Conduct equipment inspections and safety audits.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, Industrial Engineering, and Warehouse teams to support operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and company policies.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
• Perform other engineering duties as assigned by management.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Licensed Mechanical Engineer (PRC License) is preferred.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or food manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, preventive maintenance, and industrial equipment.
• Familiarity with pumps, compressors, conveyors, boilers, HVAC systems, and production machinery.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD (or similar CAD software).
• Knowledge of PLCs and automation systems is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
