About the role
We are seeking a talented Visual Merchandiser - Restaurant to join our team at our Makati City location in Metro Manila. This is a contract position that plays a crucial role in creating an inviting and visually compelling environment that enhances our customers' dining and shopping experience.As Visual Merchandiser, you will be responsible for designing and implementing eye-catching displays, product arrangements, and atmospheric elements throughout our restaurant and cafe spaces. Your work will directly influence customer perception, drive sales, and reinforce our brand identity.
Key responsibilities- Design and execute compelling visual displays for retail products, baked goods, and menu items throughout the restaurant and cafe
- Strategically arrange products to maximise visibility, accessibility, and sales potential
- Maintain consistency with brand guidelines and seasonal themes in all display areas
- Create and install promotional signage, window displays, and point-of-sale materials
- Monitor display conditions, ensuring cleanliness, organisation, and proper product rotation
- Collaborate with management and kitchen staff to highlight featured items and seasonal offerings
- Analyse customer flow patterns and adjust displays accordingly to optimise engagement
- Stay current with visual merchandising trends and implement innovative ideas to refresh the space
- Manage inventory of display materials, props, and signage
- Maintain a safe and organised work environment in compliance with health and safety standards
- Proven experience as a Visual Merchandiser, preferably in a restaurant, cafe, or retail food environment
- Strong creative vision with an eye for design, colour theory, and spatial arrangement
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
- Proficiency in using visual merchandising tools and materials
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high aesthetic standards
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of retail principles and customer psychology
- Physical capability to lift, carry, and work at various heights
- Familiarity with POS systems and retail management practices is a plus
- Passion for the hospitality and food and beverage industry
