Travel Researcher & Virtual Assistant

I'm a Filipino-American entrepreneur seeking an assistant for travel planning & online research for myself & my family. You will help with creating unique trip ideas, building detailed itineraries, and comparing quotes. You will be working with me and a team of two other assistants.

You should be dedicated, proactive, and resourceful, with excellent communication skills to contact others on my behalf. Creativity and organization are key to succeeding in this role, as you will often be tasked with creating plans and solving problems that require thinking outside the box.

You will be contacting vendors, reading / posting on forums, and exploring travel ideas that are not readily available. The more creative - the better! You must also be responsive, available for travel emergencies, and comfortable working longer hours or outside traditional schedules.

This is a remote role, but I am based in Asia so you will be working normal Philippines daytime hours.

Qualifications: Reliable internet connection.

Proven international travel experience (domestic-only travel is not sufficient).
Passion for travel, with experience in long-term backpacking a plus.
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal - you will be making calls and responding to emails.

A flexible schedule, and the ability to work beyond standard hours when required.

Compensation:

The starting salary is $1,000 USD/month to $1,500 USD/month (depending on experience), with a minimum $2,000 USD bonus for the first year. Exceptional performance will result in significantly higher bonuses and opportunities for growth in both salary and responsibilities
