Quality Assurance Officer

Responsibilities:

• Verification of Production monitoring forms
• Verifies temperature of cold storages to ensure that products meet required internal temperatures
• Prepares vitamins for bread products
• Take samples of raw materials, in-process and semi-process based on established sampling procedures and guidelines (physico-chemical analysis)
• Verification of laboratory equipment (Thermometer, pH meter, refractometer)
• Residual chlorine testing
• Issuance of NCR, ILR, Disposition to sections with noted deviation
• Receiving of incoming raw materials / packaging materials
• Bake testing of newly delivered flour / premixes
• Verify coding of products
• Inspection of delivery trucks (inbound/ outbound)
• Apply Good Manufacturing Practices and strictly comply with the Food Safety Principles, Standard Processes and Procedures and any programs related to Food Safety

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences majoring in Food Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology or any related courses
• Knowledgeable in basic Microsoft applications (Word, Excel and Powerpoint) Food safety knowledge: basic knowledge on food safety (government regulations, cGMPs, SSOPs, HACCP) and hygiene standards
• Quality knowledge: familiar with basic quality concepts, and tools
• Basic knowledge on laboratory protocols and procedures
• Auditing skills: familiar with basic quality and food safety audit functions GMP auditing
