[ref. c3368016] Quezon City - Mechanical Engineer – JFE Steel (Experienced)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assigned as Steel Plant Mechanical Engineer, you are responsible for developing and creating improvements for JFE Steel plant facilities. Duties will include the following:
• Feasibility Study
• Basic/ Preliminary Planning
• Execution Plan (including cost /budget)
• Coordination with Design Companies during Detailed Design Execution
• Equipment/material requisition & Vendor Control/ Coordination
• Coordination with Contractor during Construction Execution
• Pre-Commissioning and Trial Run (Cold run and Hot run)
• Acceptance Inspection
• Project Documentations (Completion Reports, Operation Data, & As built Drawings/Documents)
• Mainly assigned for on-site work (in Japan), you are required to have a continuous long dispatch in Japan. First dispatch after passing the requirements is 3 years, followed by mandatory dispatch of 2~3 years or more.
• You will also be assigned to do basic design of Steel Plant such as preliminary planning, design calculations of machine parts, equipment, structure, and piping.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of BS in Mechanical Eng’g; PRC Licensed Mechanical Engineer
• With 5 - 7 years experience in Steel Manufacturing Company as Mechanical Engineer in-charge for the development & improvement of the machineries and plant facilities or as a mechanical equipment engineer in an
• Skilled in reading and understanding 2D drawings and 3D models.
• Dedicated to stay in Japan for a long-term (3 years and succeeding years thereof)
• Able to adopt to Japanese work culture and work environment.
• Must be willing and interested to work in Steel Plant Industry
• Dedicated in learning Nihongo (Japanese Language) in a fast phase to have better understanding of work and able to communicate well with Japanese Staff and counterparts.
• Able to pass all in-house examinations for different Nihongo levels within the duration of probationary period.
• With experience in project management an advantage
• Knowledgeable in CAD and Analysis software operation is an advantage
• Proficient in using MS Office
